The Catch (Brackeys Game Jam 2022.1)

The Catch is an eye-catching, enticing game full of surprises and fun experiences. Enter the world of the Forest of The Souls and enjoy the playfulness of the colors around you. But be careful, not everything is as it seems! The realms of life and the spirit world are intertwined.
Use your butterfly catcher to strengthen your mana for the souls are out into the world..and they'll be after you.. Protect yourself by shooting mana balls at them to avoid getting caught! Have fun and remember, your vision will be distorted, don't forget what's real! 

Compete with players all around the world and score the highest score to be recognized on a worldwide database! 

As our team expanded, both (Tommie and Michiel) are very proud of their journey this week, despite the small mistakes and bugs that might appear. This is their closest try at a real playable game and they are very pleased with both the programming and the designing process and are hopeful for the future. They welcomed two concept artists to help and are wishful to collaborate again in the future for more exciting games. We hope you enjoyed the game and we are excited to see yours!
